1. Verification and documentation basics

Use accurate business information during Official Account verification and when submitting a Mini Program. Make sure legal names, licenses, contact emails, and customer service numbers match everywhere. If you operate via a local partner or a cross-border path, keep the authorization letter and service agreement on file and ready for review.

2. Operate within your registered scope

Menus, auto-replies, and Mini Program features should reflect the business scope you registered. If you add a new function, for example telemedicine or investment tools, expect additional qualifications and review questions. Misaligned scope is a common reason for delays.

3. Content rules and risky categories

  • Be careful with health, finance, education, and cosmetic claims. Sensitive verticals often require filings or certifications.
  • Avoid prohibited content and keep comment sections moderated. Remove spam or misleading offers quickly.
  • Do not embed external trackers that conflict with platform policies.

4. Advertising claims and superlatives

Avoid absolute claims like best, number one, 100 percent effective. Use verifiable, specific statements, for example tested with 1,200 users, 4.7 average rating in the last 90 days. Keep links or internal references to the data you rely on.

5. Promotions, lotteries, and giveaways

  • Publish clear rules, eligibility, start and end times, and prize descriptions.
  • Disclose how winners are chosen and how users can claim rewards.
  • Do not require unnecessary personal data for entry. Keep a record of the draw or selection.

6. Data collection and consent signals

Collect only what you need for service delivery and customer support. Provide an in-app privacy notice for forms and Mini Program profiles. Offer a visible contact for data requests and a simple way to unsubscribe from notifications. If you sync data to outside tools, document the flow and notify users where relevant.

7. Payments, refunds, and receipts

  • Show total price, shipping, and taxes before payment. Provide an order summary at the top of the pay screen.
  • Offer refund and return information in the order detail view. Make support reachable in one tap.
  • Send an in-app receipt and keep server-side logs of payment webhooks and reconciliation.

8. Copyright, trademarks, and UGC moderation

Use licensed images, fonts, and music. If your product pages include user photos or reviews, add reporting and takedown options. For brand terms, avoid using competitors’ trademarks in ways that could cause confusion.

9. Mini Program review, fast passes and rejections

  • Prepare testing accounts, sample products, and any required certificates before submission.
  • Describe each feature clearly in the submission notes. Link to help pages inside the Mini Program.
  • Common rejections, missing real customer service contact, unclear refund path, or claims without evidence.

10. H5 stores, hosting, and ICP considerations

If you point to an H5 store, ensure the domain, company name, and contact details match what users see inside WeChat. Use a fast CDN and keep TLS valid. If hosting inside mainland China, check the requirements for local filings and put a compliant footer on the site.

11. Quick compliance checklist

  • Verified business info matches across account and Mini Program.
  • Features align with registered scope and required qualifications.
  • Claims are specific, supported, and free from superlatives.
  • Promo rules are published and easy to find.
  • Privacy notice covers what you collect and why.
  • Order, refund, and support paths are one tap away.
  • IP licenses and UGC moderation are in place.
  • Submission notes explain features and provide test data.
  • External H5 links are fast, secure, and consistent with your account.
