Not always. There are pathways for overseas entities. I’ll review your situation and timeline and recommend the route that fits best.
Yes. I create bilingual content, ensuring tone and vocabulary match your brand and industry.
Simple setups can be ready in 2–4 weeks, depending on verification speed and content approvals.
I follow platform rules and advise on best practices so your account stays compliant and safe.
Simple utilities can pass in a few business days once all materials are correct. E-commerce or payment features may add time for extra checks. I help you prepare so the first submission is solid.
Your Official Account and any mini programs run on Tencent’s WeChat/Weixin infrastructure. You own the content you create, but by publishing it you grant Tencent a license to host and use it under the platform terms. The account itself belongs to Tencent. Followers’ personal data is collected and controlled by Tencent; you receive analytics and messages, but not full control of user data. Storage location depends on product/region: Weixin services used in mainland China are hosted in Tencent’s China infrastructure, while WeChat’s international services store user data outside mainland China (for example, Singapore/Netherlands). Because Official Accounts and mini programs primarily target mainland users, your use must comply with Chinese law and platform rules. Policies can change, so we review Tencent’s current privacy notices during onboarding.
You get follower growth, article reads, shares, menu clicks, form submissions, and mini program events. I set clear KPIs and reporting so you can see what drives leads and sales.
A good baseline is one article per week plus two to three shorter posts or Moments repurposes. We adjust cadence based on goals, seasonality, and performance.
I’m the person you’ll work with from day one. No hand-offs.
My name is PerOla Hammar. I have spent over twenty years living and working in China, helping Western companies navigate its business landscape. Through WeChatDev, I bring together that experience to help European and US brands build meaningful and lasting connections with Chinese consumers. I handle every step personally, from technical setup to creative storytelling, ensuring the entire process is efficient, transparent, and true to your brand’s identity.
I’ve seen first-hand how crucial WeChat is to everyday life in China. From messaging and news to shopping and payments, it’s the digital ecosystem where people spend most of their online time. My mission is to make it simple for you to enter this ecosystem with clarity, confidence, and a strategy built to grow. When we work together, you speak with me directly, no agencies, no language barriers, just one clear channel for turning your brand into a trusted WeChat presence.
